About Me

Hi!

I'm Jaime and I live in an 110+ year old house in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

I live here with my dog, Frankie, and three crazy cats, Oliver, Mimi, and Maya. They add laughter, excitement, and happiness to my life everyday.

I have a full time job, but in my free time, I like to do anything and everything. On any given day, you might find me knitting, crocheting, building furniture, crafting making household repairs, or hanging out with my Little Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Join me as I try new activities and projects. I can't promise that everything I do will end in a success, but I always have fun doing it.

  1. I'm making a dog bed like the one you have on here. I need to know how you attached the front 1x4 to the base. I'm stuck because I switched the front opening to the short side instead of the long side and I'm not seeing how to do the pocket holes. Please help! Thank you!

    1. Hi Juli,
I placed the pocket holes so they were positioned on the inside of the bed on the base of the 1x4. The 1x4 is actually sitting upright, positioned on the very front of the 2x6. The pocket holes point down in the 1x4 and are screwed into the 2x6. I hope this helps!

  2. Hi Jamie. I don't know how I got here (searching DIY projects) but I saw a ITP link and got excited. My daughter has had ITP from the age of 4. We live in Lansing. This is a great website. I will be making the bird feeder. God bless
    Ruben
